Introduction
This formal statement outlines ongoing concerns regarding medical misconduct, harassment, and harmful behaviour affecting both myself and my son, Wyatt. These issues have resulted in significant emotional distress, social isolation, and a loss of trust in community systems designed to provide support and safety.
Background
In 2022, I submitted a formal medical complaint to the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Since then, my son and I have experienced behaviour that has left us feeling targeted, intimidated, and misrepresented. These experiences include:
Emotional manipulation and gaslighting
Deception and inconsistent communication
Actions contributing to community-wide stigma
Behaviour undermining our sense of safety and belonging
I am particularly concerned that medical information may have been altered or misrepresented, reinforcing harmful narratives about me and my son. These narratives appear to have influenced our treatment within the medical system, the disability community, the educational sector, and other community organizations, such as the John William's YMCA in Trenton.
Concerns Regarding Misuse of Authority
I believe individuals in positions of authority have had multiple opportunities to act responsibly and ethically. However, patterns of behaviour suggest misuse of influence, power, and professional roles, including:
Spreading or reinforcing misleading information
Contributing to community-level stigma
Creating an environment where my son and I feel watched, judged, or targeted
Failing to correct misinformation when able to do so
These actions have deeply impacted my son and I, who deserves stability, safety, and respect.
Community Impact and Intimidation
In our daily lives, we have observed behaviour that appears coordinated and intimidating. Encounters with emergency vehicles, city service vehicles, and community workers have contributed to a sense of being monitored or harassed. Whether intentional or not, this pattern has created an environment where we do not feel safe or welcome. It does not matter if it is 10% or 90% doing it; the pattern is identifiable.
This experience has been alienating and emotionally exhausting. We seek to feel valued, respected, and supported within our community.
Statement of Need
I am seeking accountability, transparency, and resolution. My goal is not conflict but safety and fairness. I want these patterns of behaviour to cease so that my son and I can rebuild trust in the systems meant to protect and support us.
